What are you doing?

What are you doing? Have you been living life to the fullest with the abundant life that Jesus spoke about in the scripture? Living the life that God wants for you is simple, but not easy.  Think about where you are in life in different areas like your career, finances, love, and all the other roles that you have and hats that you wear. Think about if you are content. Then, think about are you pleasing God? Are you doing what He called you to do? Doing what God called you to do will make you content and free and is the most important thing. The Bible speaks in John 10:10 and say s, " The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have   it   more abundantly." Jesus came that you may have the abundant life. Do you have a vision for your life or are you existing haphazardly? God has a purpose for you! What are you doing? Over the next few posts, we will be doing some vision work, 2 minutes at a ti...

Stick with it...

There are certain things I never stuck with... But in hindsight, I realize that if I just was consistent with these things, if I just stayed with them a little longer, if I just gave it more of a chance, I would have been excellent in them! This ranges from jobs to diets and so on. Even this blog!

I believe God loves consistency and discipline.  I believe this is synonymous with being faithful, which is of utmost importance. So, I have decided to take a more religious approach to these things -- to consider them from the perspective that I am doing them for God and He does not want me to quit. For instance, healthy eating habits is something I want to maintain, however, I really like sweets at times. When I change my perspective that everything I eat and drink has a purpose and keep in mind my body is the Temple, I learn that I should not overindulge in anything in life not just sweets.

Today, I want to encourage you. I know it is simple but not easy. But you can do it! And I will do the same. Commit to God and to you and in doing the things He desires which will also benefit you greatly.  Take care of yourselves, dear friends.
